Our surgeons have chosen Silagen for its proven results, above and beyond anything you can find at your local drugstore. From easy to apply gels for the face to self-adhering strips for the breast, abdomen, and extremities we literally have you covered for almost any incision and location. There are even formulations with SPF 30 sunscreen built-in to provide additional protection while your scars mature.
The “golden period” for silicone application to help scars is from 3 weeks to 3 months after your procedure. You may still obtain the benefit of silicone used for the first 12 months and many patients continue their use of Silagen while this maturation process continues.
