A: Many patients begin noticing muscle relaxation and improvement in wrinkles within 48 hours. The full effect is usually present by 1 week.
A: Most first time users can expect 3-5 months of effect before muscle function gradually returns. Patients that keep up on their Botox injections often get longer-lasting results as behaviors change and the muscles get used to inactivity.
Not really. You should be able to go about your normal routine after leaving our office. Avoid straining or blood rushing to the head for a few hours to minimize any bruising at the injection sites. It is okay to apply cool compresses or ice packs for the first 24 hours to minimize any bruising as well.
