Panniculectomy Before and After Photos Patient 37484
This patient suffered from a large lower abdominal apron of excess tissue, residual adiposity, and lymphedema that caused skin ulcerations, rashes, and infections. She underwent a functional panniculectomy, or amputation of the lower abdominal tissues only. Overall 35.1 pounds of lower abdominal tissue was removed! She feels fantastic and is now able to better live her life with the weight of the pannus gone.
Note -this was not a cosmetic operation or tummy tuck (no muscle tightening or belly button movement), and no liposuction was performed. She is seen here 4 months postoperatively.
