Head & Neck

This patient developed a melanoma in situ of her left forehead. She underwent several rounds of slow Mohs excision by her Dermatologist to ensure all of her cancer was removed. Ultimately she had a 4cm x 4cm defect of her upper forehead. Dr. Geiger used a full thickness skin graft to reconstruct the defect and minimize any distortion to her eyebrow or hairline. Here she is several months out and doing well. Her skin graft will continue to blend with the surrounding tissues with time.
