Oncoplastic Breast Reconstruction

This 81-year-old female developed a cancer of her right lower breast. She underwent lumpectomy but had positive margins meaning residual tumor was still present. She was referred to Dr. Geiger who designed an oncoplastic reduction/reconstruction in order to remove large amounts of breast tissue & tumor, all while reshaping the breast. She had a breast reduction on the left side at the same time for symmetry. Not only was her cancer fully removed, but she has a great aesthetic and functional outcome as well.
