Panniculectomy Before and After Photos Patient 37370
This patient lost over 70 pounds after a gastric bypass operation. She had a residual lower abdominal apron of excess tissue that caused skin ulcerations, rashes, and infections. She qualified for a functional panniculectomy, or amputation of the lower abdominal tissues. In order to improve her postop appearance she elected to add on additional contouring with a tummy tuck and liposuction of her chest wall, upper back, lower back, and flanks. This further tightened her muscles, narrowed her waist, and recreated a cute belly button. Overall she had ~3kg of tissue surgically removed ( >6.5lbs) plus an additional 5 liters of liposuction. She looks fantastic with this amazing transformation. Scars will continue to fade over the ensuing year.
