Prepectoral Reconstruction

This patient developed left breast cancer and underwent bilateral skin sparing mastectomies through horizontal ellipse incisions. Dr. Geiger performed immediate prepectoral (above the muscle) reconstruction with highly cohesive (gummy bear) smooth round silicone implants the same day. This gave her a very nice shape and fuller appearance in one operation combining cancer removal and reconstruction. She later underwent fat grafting to help smooth out any remaining contour irregularities.
