This patient developed a few right breast cancers. She underwent chemotherapy to shrink her tumors followed by double mastectomies. These were performed through breast reduction-type incisions (Wise Pattern) to remove excess skin and allow better reshaping of the breasts. Dr. Geiger placed tissue expanders on top of the muscle (prepectoral) and supported them with a blanket of Alloderm as well as her own excess breast skin (inferior autoderm technique). She completed the expansion phase and subsequently underwent exchange to smooth round silicone implants (580cc SCX – extra high profile, highly cohesive) for an excellent outcome giving her a breast lift along with treating her cancer.
