Revision Reconstruction

This patient presented to Dr. Geiger several years after she had failed expander based reconstruction by another surgeon. After multiple fluid collections and infections in her initial reconstruction attempts, the decision was made to remove everything and let her skin heal. Dr. Geiger evaluated her chest which seemed to still have enough laxity for expansion. She underwent revision reconstruction, building her new breasts on top of the muscle with an Alloderm mesh covering for support. She slowly expanded out and here she is after her final implant exchange looking outstanding. She is extremely grateful and we are so happy for her and this amazing outcome.
