This gentleman developed a skin cancer (basal cell carcinoma) of the left cheek. He underwent resection by Mohs technique leaving a 3.5cm x 3.5cm defect. Dr. Geiger rearranged his facial tissues, aligning his closure along relaxed skin tension lines. The result is a well concealed scar that is already hardly noticeable 3 months later, and no distortion of his lower eyelid or corner of his mouth.
