This patient developed left breast cancer. She had double mastectomies via curvilinear ellipses to remove some extra skin and provide a subtle breast lift. She had immediate subpectoral tissue expander and Alloderm reconstruction at the same time. She completed expansion during chemotherapy and later underwent exchange to highly cohesive (gummy bear) silicone implants. Here she is 1 year after her radiation treatments to the left breast. Her left side has shrunken/contracted some from the radiation, but overall she is maintaining an excellent outcome.
