Tummy Tuck
This patient lost nearly 170 pounds after a gastric sleeve operation. She had a residual lower abdominal apron of excess tissue that caused skin ulcerations, rashes, and infections. She qualified for a functional panniculectomy, or amputation of the lower abdominal tissues. In order to improve her postop appearance she elected to add on additional contouring via a fleur-de-lis abdominoplasty which removes a vertical wedge of tissue from the central abdomen. This further tightened her muscles, narrowed her waist, and removed even more abdominal tissue. She looks fantastic with this amazing transformation
