Unilateral Reconstruction

This patient developed right breast cancer. Initial treatment consisted of a lumpectomy through a small incision across her right breast. However, there was still cancer noted at the margins of this removal so she underwent a mastectomy using her old incision. Dr. Geiger performed immediate reconstruction that same day placing her final implant above the muscle (prepectoral) with some skin adjustments. She later had a left breast lift to gain more symmetry between her natural and reconstructed sides.
