Wise Pattern Reconstruction

This patient developed right breast cancer.  She underwent double mastectomies through breast reduction-type incisions (Wise Pattern) to remove excess skin and allow better reshaping of the breasts.  Dr. Geiger placed tissue expanders under the muscle and supported them with her own excess breast skin (inferior autoderm technique).  She completed chemotherapy during the expansion phase and subsequently underwent exchange to smooth round silicone implants for smaller, perkier breasts she desired.  She is undergoing radiation therapy to the right breast at the time of these photos.
