Wise Pattern Reconstruction

This patient developed right breast cancer. She underwent double mastectomies through breast reduction-type incisions (Wise Pattern) to remove excess skin and allow better reshaping of the breasts. Dr. Geiger placed tissue expanders on top of the muscle (prepectoral) and supported them with a blanket of Alloderm as well as her own excess breast skin (inferior autoderm technique). She completed the expansion phase and subsequently underwent exchange to shaped, textured silicone implants (Mentor low height, moderate plus profile, 415cc bilat) for an excellent outcome giving her both a reduction and a breast lift. She later obtained 3D tattoos which she feels really helped complete her overall reconstruction.
