Wise Pattern Reconstruction Before and After Photos Patient 37371

This patient was deemed high risk for future breast cancer after genetic testing. She underwent prophylactic double mastectomies through breast reduction-type incisions (Wise Pattern) to remove excess skin and allow better reshaping of the breasts. Dr. Geiger placed tissue expanders on top of the muscle (prepectoral) and supported them with a blanket of Alloderm as well as her own excess breast skin (inferior autoderm technique). She completed the expansion phase and subsequently underwent exchange to smooth round silicone implants (Allergan 615cc extra high profile) for an excellent outcome giving her both more shaping and symmetry along with nearly eliminating her future risk of breast cancer.
