Wise Pattern Reconstruction

This patient developed left breast cancer. She had 2 lumpectomies that were unable to clear all of her tumor. Thus, she elected to undergo double mastectomies through breast reduction-type incisions (Wise Pattern) to remove excess skin and allow better reshaping of the breasts. Dr. Geiger placed tissue expanders under the muscle and supported them with her own excess breast skin (inferior autoderm technique). She completed the expansion phase and subsequently underwent exchange to smooth round silicone implants for an excellent outcome giving her a simultaneous reduction and lift, while adding upper fullness and cleavage.
