Revision Reconstruction

This patient had breast cancer care and reconstruction at another hospital. Her initial surgeon performed reconstruction using tissue from her abdomen. Unfortunately, all the tissue on the left and part of the tissue on the right did not do well. Thus, she was converted to an implant on the left but was significantly asymmetric. She was referred to Dr. Geiger to revise her reconstruction. She liked the larger left size, so Dr. Geiger performed augmentation of the right breast under her remaining abdominal flap, and exchanged her left implant to match. She had some additional fat grafting to smooth out any wrinkles. Here she is looking fantastic and much more symmetric. She has been extremely grateful and full of new confidence after this revision reconstruction with Dr. Geiger.
