Head & Neck

This patient developed a melanoma to his scalp requiring removal with at least 2cm margins around the entire lesion. This left a defect too large to be closed with his remaining scalp tissues. Thus, he had a skin graft reconstruction which allows quick healing and good future monitoring for any cancer recurrence. The defect will continue to fill in and fade with time.
