Patient 102
This patient developed bilateral breast cancers. She initially underwent bilateral lumpectomies but the tumors were unable to be cleared. She thus elected to undergo double mastectomies through horizontal ellipses, incorporating her lumpectomy scars. She had immediate subpectoral tissue expander and Alloderm reconstruction. This was followed 3 months later by exchange to highly cohesive (gummy bear) […]

Patient 103
Ruptured Implant Exchange This patient had subglandular silicone implants placed on top of her muscle ~35 years ago. She developed a fold in the implant that was visible on the inner left breast. This tented the skin and was easily palpable. She desired a little more fullness as well. We decided to exchange to a […]

Patient 104
This patient developed left breast cancer. She underwent double mastectomies through breast reduction-type incisions (Wise Pattern) to remove excess skin and allow better reshaping of the breasts. Dr. Geiger placed tissue expanders under the muscle and supported them with her own excess breast skin (inferior autoderm technique). She completed the expansion phase and subsequently underwent […]

Dr. Geiger worked simultaneously with her breast surgeon to perform resection of the tumor while reducing and reshaping of the breast to minimize future cavitation or distortion. She underwent simultaneous reduction of her other breast by Dr. Geiger using a superomedial pedicle, Wise-pattern […]

Patient 106
This patient initially underwent breast reconstruction at another hospital using her lower abdominal tissue. Unfortunately both of her reconstructed breasts failed and much of the transferred tissue was lost. Her prior surgeon placed an implant on the left with persistent deformities and asymmetries. Here she is feeling so much better after Dr. Geiger revised her […]

Patient 107
This patient had a prior subglandular breast (over the muscle) breast augmentation by another surgeon years ago. She was unhappy with the visible rippling and desired more volume. Dr. Geiger performed pocket exchange, putting her new gummy bear implants under the muscle. This helps to add some additional padding over the implants in the cleavage […]

Patient 108
This patient suffered from the usual upper back & neck pains, bra strap grooving, and rashes due to her large breasts. She underwent reduction by Dr. Geiger using a superomedial pedicle, Wise-pattern scar technique. This technique removes the lower and outer breast tissue, and keeps the remaining upper breast tissue for nipple support. The final […]

Patient 109
This patient was unhappy with the sagging, full appearance to her breasts. In addition, the two completely different sizes made finding bras, swimwear, and fitting in clothing difficult. Dr. Geiger helped her out with a breast lift/reduction using a superomedial pedicle, Wise-pattern scar technique. This technique removes the lower and outer breast tissue, and keeps […]

Patient 110
This patient developed cancer in the lower outer aspect of her right breast. Dr. Geiger worked simultaneously with her breast cancer surgeon to perform an oncoplastic removal of her tumor with reshaping of the residual breast tissue. This gave the patient her desired lift and reduction. The left breast was lifted and reduced at the […]
