This patient developed cancer in the central aspect of her right breast just under her nipple. Dr. Geiger worked simultaneously with her breast surgeon to perform resection of the tumor while reducing and reshaping the breast. She a Wise-pattern free nipple grafting technique that allowed adequate resection of her cancer but preservation of her nipple. This technique removes the central and lower breast tissue, and keeps the remaining upper breast tissue for support. The final inverted-T shaped scars allow removal of additional sagging skin. This allows for a nice rounded shape, medial fullness, projection, and longevity to the final breast appearance. This was performed on both sides for symmetry and longevity of her result. She now has much more manageable breast size and has met our ultimate goal – treatment of her cancer.
